Read a most lovely article recently in The Daily record by Libby McArthur. A deep thinker with a varied working past including in prisons, she identifies feeling valued as being related to self-esteem. Correct. It makes you and the people you help feel good about themselves. She writes about the value in mentioning 'people at their best'. I think these values have somehow recently lost their value in our society. They are ,to me, priceless and should be written about even more in the media. More space for the extra-ordinary things ordinary people do and less about 'celebrities' PLEASE. As Libby says, it should be recognised how much it means to contribute to others. Christ values even the smallest of words, deeds or prayers as He wants us to be good to one another. Libby is clearly a people person. A woman after Christ's own heart. God bless us ordinary people and our contributions to spread happiness. Thank You. Amen.
