I have glady taken part in communion in any church I have been in. I do this as others do with deep thanks for the death Christ suffered and for the power of His sacred blood. Last Sunday, I realised that I could have my own communion with God at home. I had previously thought you had to be an ordained minister to do this. Within the Bible lies knowledge, power, instructions, tools and resources to use, words to speak, wisdom to follow, testimonies of life stories to study and so much more. I realised I had left this sacrament unused. My offering to the lord is now to do this every Sunday with bread and juice or milk. God, I pray for increased unity in the body of Christ. Help us grow daily into Him who is our head, Christ. Join us together by Your Holy Spirit. Build us up in Your ways and will so that each does their part as a family in Christ. I remember Your body (bread) and blood (juice/wine/water) and offer communion in remembrance of You. Your light shines in the darkness.
The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion
