They say 'the wheels of the law grind slowly' but what I see is the wheels of ever increasing acts of legislation for the things we don't need - the health and safety policies gone mad get pushed through parliament and others like it such as politically correct, non-discriminatory and so on and so woefully quickly. What we need the time, attention and speed to is the things affecting us NOW. Jobs, housing, health care, future for our children.
Income tax down for the top few wealthy and benefit cuts affecting many including 'the working poor'. To compensate, the income tax threshold (sweetener or sickener considering the unemployment figures) has been raised. Slightly.
God, we know that the present government in London inherited some of these losses from their predecessors. But, no jargon or statistics can hide the facts that there is a loss of sense meaning losses to the majority. To our profit, can You intervene. Amen.
