When I asked God to help me beat the demons that were assigned to me, I didn't have to lift a finger - 'The battle is Mines says the Lord'. But, did this mean I could carry on with the same old thoughts, prayers, behaviour. No. I had to show God that I was serious and had to do my part too. I had to ask Him to control my tongue and help me speak out only helpful words. The words we say can be a blessing or a curse and self fulfilling prophesy as 'the devil roams around looking for someone to devour'. Satan cannot read our thoughts, but he can hear. He has a highly organised Kingdom of ranking demons - a basic copy of the system he seen in heaven before being thrown out. I struggled at first as I was tempted to snap back at someone's hurtful words but God told me as it is written 'You can do nothing without Me'. So, I worked on with His help. I had to turn away from behaviours outwith his ways, stop thinking on sinful trains of thought and be obedient to Him. These skills when won are lifelong.
The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion
