When my daughter was born, I received 3.5 pints of blood so blood is needed for so many events and almost all unexpected.
Last year, I tried to give blood back but was sad I couldn;t because I had received this transfustion in 1998 before a test for CJD. I hope a test is developed so that I can donate.
National Health Scotland are appealing again for donations as blood is essential to save lives. Blood cannot be manufactured in a laboratory and so they need supplies of all blood types in their banks. Would you consider becoming a regular donor? I am an organ donor too and it is a great thought to think when I go, I could give someone sight or come off dialysis or my heart.
Remember, Christ gave His blood for us so that we could overcome satan and be safe and saved and be free now and also, also, inherit our eternal place in heaven. We have the power in our veins to save many too. Please think about it. Giving blood is painless and a marvellous thing to do for others. Thank you.
